Chaos Giants serve as the tank unit for Chaos.

Chaos Giant Armoury

A giant as it appears in the armoury.

Not to be confused with Enslaved Giants, the "enslaved" ones used by Order have slightly lower health and a single target ranged attack.

Appearance

Chaos Giants are very large stick figures (hence the name Giant) with a size that can be further amplified by their Giant Growth upgrade, which also increases health.

They are hunch-backed, possibly from the heavy clubs and weapons they carry, but most likely to show that they're dim-witted.

Giant Growth

Giant Growth is an upgrade available to giants. It increases their size and health. This allow them to be more effective tank units. Fully grown giants have so much health that the bars are not shown. Once an upgrade is finished, it is automatically, and instantly applied to all existing giants, including the tower spawn.

The first level costs 200 gold and 200 mana. However, it takes 40 seconds to research.

The second level costs 400 gold and 400 mana, but takes 60 seconds to research.

Chaos Giant Kiting

Chaos giants act much like giants did in Stick War one, once they select a target they freeze in place and go through their attack animation without correcting if the target moves. This is easiest to expliot with fast units like Shadowrath but can in theory done with many units, including Enslaved giants. To kite a chaos giant you only need to move over to the side of the giant that is not attacking, telling your units to move the moment you see the Chaos Giant settle on an attack animation.

Kiting in this way can be 'countered' by telling a second chaos giant to hang back slightly, denying units from running past the first and making dodging both giants very difficult, especially if they select different directions to attack in.

Uses

Chaos Giants have a very slow but powerful, AoE, armor piercing attack that stuns on attack. (This can destroy back lines of weaker units, and is a death sentence if combo'd with extra Chaos Giants) Along with this, they have a bountiful amount of health which results in their main use as absorbing projectiles like arrows for more frail units. While they do not have the most reliable damage, they are powerful, tanky, and are offer a powerful choice for end-game compositions.

Chaos Giant Tank

Chaos giants provide great tanks for ranged units and spellcasters.

Trivia

  • Despite getting longer legs with Giant Growth, Giants still have the same animation speed and walk speed, leading to humourous "moon-walking" as some people call it.
  • Despite Giants lacking visible armour, they are still considered armoured by the game.
